It starts with a plan and careful measuring....
I needed a 20" wide top for the piece so clamped and glued the two boards together. Didn't use biscuits. Turned out just fine!
These legs are very solid. Pocket holes and glue and clamped. They aren't going anywhere! I will say, however, that the longer length of this piece made it hard to keep the corners perfectly square. I do always take care to select my own boards and make sure of no warp before buying.
